Early Crocuses making a Living - as winter eases 1
I call them ‘Croccii’ when there’s more than one which is actually the correct Latin extension but everyone else seems to use the anglicised ‘correctness’ of old erroneous habit so, ‘crocuses’ it is !
Either way, these are stunningly beautiful little flowers and, as their precursors, the snowdrops, they seem to have no visible purpose other than to bring delight and joy to hearts. What a noble potential realized !
