Natures Winter Heart 1
After one of the mildest autumns on record (2022) the first real frosts come as UK days and nights start seeing temperatures of -7 to 1 degrees.
These wonderful icicles and diamonds of frozen water arrange themselves with geometric precision round leaves, stems, branches, twigs and whatever else is around.
They are a royal testament to the interest in all of the minutiae within the ‘Natural World’, alongside a capability and compassionate wish to bless all Human Life which El-Shaddai makes possible such a rich tapestry of beauty to be marvelled at and savoured as well-wrapped up walks and photography expeditions are attempted - no matter the cold !
As the long low reddish light of late afternoon and early morning cast their warming glow across frozen shapes there is a wholeness and a lovely completeness about it all that just stops you where you are and you cannot help but look with admiration and a deep thankfulness for it all.
Such a blessing - before the rains and warmer temperatures arrive !!
