Seashore at the end of day 1
This is a small part of a very long beach and ocean side along part of the east edge of the Firth of Clyde.
Lot of water out there. The UK nuclear subs do drills and stuff way out/down there - although we’re not supposed to know that ! All sorts of UK navy ships do drills out there and, under the water, pretty much in the middle between the Isle of Arran and the Mainland is a sunken WWII ship which was apparently blown up by enemy sub fire.
This small stretch of calmly moving waters, right tat the end of the avilable light of this day, gives us a peaceful calm look at patinas and reflectance, implied movement and several differing areas of light values, going out to the far horizon. Would have been nice to have had a dog somewhere on the beach to give it some scale !
